Mayan Day Out of Time

Today is: July 25 Kūkahi
This month is: Hinaia‘ele‘ele

This season is: Kau

Hawaiian Moon calendar writes,"An ‘ōlelo no‘eau (poetical saying) goes, "E pua ana ka ‘ōhi‘a ‘ai a hō‘umeke i ka malama o Hinaia‘ele‘ele," the mountain apple blooms and the fruits form in the month of Hinaia‘ele‘ele."

Moon Day 5

Lunarian writes,"The Vedic tradition considers this day to be the best for any the actions intended to bring benefits, and also excellent for beginning any enterprise. The European tradition states the opposite: the day is inauspicious, bringing losses and dangerous illnesses."

Biodynamic Forecast

Today is: July 24

This month is: Hinaia‘ele‘ele

This season is: Kau

Aloha. It's Dawn Patrol. It's going to be a hot day! I would recommend staying off the beach and getting chilled out in some cool pool. Water your plants. The calm before the storm. Air quality sucks. More cane burning and vog. Good morning for snorkeling.

Get Clear On New Moon Goals
Think this thing through.

Lunarian writes:
This is a contradictory day. In the Vedic and Avesta traditions, it is inauspicious and only good for conflict and getting rid of anything outmoded. Nothing should be started, especially if it is connected to any kind of material gain. In the European tradition this is a good day for beginnings, especially if you are searching for something lost. It is also lucky for any kind of business that deals with water.

Goddess Party Makawao Maui

Maui Story: So what was it like? The goddess party that is?
DJ Story: Lot's of goddessess that's for sure.
Maui Story: What's a goddess?
DJ Story: A goddess is a dedicated fan that will hold the camera while you're DJing.
Maui Story: Did any real ones step up and hold the camera?
DJ Story: Yeah a real goddess is one that will step up and do anything you say.
Maui Story: Ho! Brah...say more.
DJ Story: It's not about how many goddesses you can juggle only that they are into you.
Maui Story: Our fans are curious...like what's it like being a popular DJ.
DJ Story: It's the best ever. It's also very competitive, because everyone wants to be a DJ/Producer like me. And if they can't be they can be in relationship with one personally.
Maui Story: Are you putting yourself out there?
DJ Story: Who doesn't enjoy wonderful music. Want to enjoy more wonderful music? Harhar Hehe... Come and get it! It's DJ Story at the Crystal Goddess Healing Party.

Interview with Jai

Maui Story: It seems to be true. That sometimes you've got to wear your shoes in the house. What is orthodox and what is unorthodox in your experience since you arrived on Maui?
Jai: It is Don Qxioute. There is no orthodox or unorthox. There is a higher plan here and Maui makes that very apparent. That's anywhere though not just here.
Maui Story: You're a gulf war veteran. How long have you been out?
Jai: Almost four years. It will be four years in October.
Maui Story: Do you think you were guided to come to Maui?
Jai: Without a doubt. (a gecco laughs) I have a magic rudraksha from Maui. There is one tree growing on Haiku Road . It's on private property. I believe it's the old Baldwin Estate.
Maui Story:What's that thing around your neck. It looks like a seed. Is that it?
Jai: It is is a symbol of Shiva. Rudra can be interpreted as primordial or wild. Aksha means eyes, as in wildeyed! It is the 108th bead on my mala that I pray on.
Maui Story: You count your beads? What's up with that?
Jai: The 108th bead is the Guru bead.
Maui Story: So it's a Guru Trip you're on. Are there any real Guru's left? Have you really met one?
Jai: I have met several Gurus.
Maui Story: Okay...Let's get real. Where you ever afraid in the War? Can you see fear?
Jai: What do you mean by see fear?
Maui Story: Have you ever been really afraid of anything?
Jai: No...because everthing is in perfect divine timing and hands. "Either everything is a miracle or nothing is a miracle," Enstein said.
Maui Story: What does you name mean?
Jai: Sanskit expression meaning Yaaa! VICTORY BLISS. Or praise God.
Maui Story: What are your travel plans?
Jai: I want to get to California for the Fall so you never know. California in the Fall is a magic place! I want to check out the Shiva temple on Kauai.
Maui Story: So you pulled a tough duty coming here with you bro who's wife is expecting. You seem really service oriented. How do you keep it all together?
Jai:I call on my HigherSelf a lot and stay present and meditate a lot.
Maui Story: Meditation keeps you balanced then? Does it really work that well?
Jai: Oh yeah...it dependeds on how much you can quiet your mind and be patient. I've learned patient is valuable virtue. Get into it. You will see the divine flow.
Maui Story: Time to roll. Thank you Jai for sharing your time and for the wisdom.

Back Story
Maui Story: So we have a few more moment with Jai. What is your philosophy on women?
Jai: They should all be treated like Divine Mothers because that is who they are? I can't do that...because too many people might get upset. Besides I'm not really sure yet. lol
Maui Story: What's your favorite color?
Jai: Purple pink irridescent sunset. Magenta maybe.
Maui Story: What do you eat?
Jai: I eat a vegetarian diet. Nuts, fruits, vegies, and grains.
Maui Story: Is that easy here on Maui?
Jai: Yes! It is vary easy if you are in the right flow. It is easier and it may require more energy if you need rice and don't have a car. It's always eay to hitch hike on Maui. They are doing a service. That is a selfless act to pick someone up hitch hiking. I'm into encouraging that sort of thing. I think everyone should try hitch hiking. Relying solely on faith and grace. It is a very apparent illustration of divine grace.
